Thanksgiving Everyday

I am Thankful for

My Husband

My Children

My Family

My Friends

My Church

My Car

My Home

My School

The windows and screens at my home

My toothbrush

The soap/detergent we use

The hangers in our closets

Doors/doorknobs in our homes and cars

The computer I do my school work on

The garage, the garage door, and the opener

Running water

Heat

Air Conditioning

Gas

The fans in almost every room in our house

The spoons/forks/knives we use daily

The trees/grass/sky/cloud

The rain/snow/wind

and the list goes on.

In other words, I am thankful for life and everything in it. The fact that I have a bed to lay in is only because of Jesus!

I am guilty of sometimes taking things for granted as well. Almost as if I deserve this. Yet, everything I own belongs to the Almighty. Yes, I have worked hard for the things I have, but ultimately, He provided the job, He provided the meal, He provided!

The Bible says,

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭100:4-5‬ ‭NLT‬

So today, I challenge you to thank God for everything you put your hands on. Let today be the start of your new gratitude journey unto the Lord.

And if you find yourself in a trial today, thank God for that too. Trust me, it might not make sense now, but when you are on the other side of things, you'll thank God for the spiritual growth and the improvement of your character. Not to mention, the fact that He was with you the entire time.

Y'all, let thanksgiving be every day, for we are a blessed people.
